This website is operated by Nina Squire, The Pastel Artist. I am an artist and art tutor based in Dorset, United Kingdom.

I am responsible for the personal information collected through this website and my business.

Payments are processed securely by the payment provider used at checkout. I do not receive or store your complete card details.

Online workshops and recordings

Some online workshops are recorded so customers can watch them afterwards. I will make it clear when recording is taking place.

Your displayed name, voice or image may be included if your microphone or camera is switched on. You may keep them switched off if you do not wish to appear in the recording.

Recordings are only made available for the access period stated when the workshop is purchased. They will not be shared publicly with your contribution included without your permission.

I use trusted providers to help run my website and deliver my services. These may include:

  • WooCommerce, wordpress and video-hosting services.
  • Stripe for payments.
  • Payhip for some international purchases.
  • Mailchimp for newsletters.
  • Zoom for online workshops.
  • Google Analytics, where you have accepted analytics cookies.
  • Delivery companies when posting artwork or other physical items.
  • Professional advisers or public authorities where required by law.

These providers only receive the information needed to provide their service. Some may process information outside the UK using recognised data-protection safeguards.

I do not sell personal information.

How long I keep information

I keep information only for as long as it is reasonably needed.

Purchase and financial records are retained for the period required by tax and accounting law. Enquiries are normally retained for up to two years. Mailing-list details are kept until you unsubscribe. Course and recording information is retained for the access and administrative periods connected with your purchase.

Information may be kept for longer where required by law or in connection with a legal claim.

Your rights
